No one wants your beastly cats

PLEASE READ: This video is for every shelter who gets 40+ calls a day for unwanted housecats, unaltered ferals, and from generally irresponsible people. The situation depicted in this video is the exact reason why thousands of cats are unnecessarily euthanized in shelters everyday, because there are too many, and more kittens are born all the time. Feline over-population is a serious problem. You have to do more than just feed outdoor or feral cats to care for them. Have them trapped by humane organizations that do low-cost spay/neuter; please realize that not all shelters offer this kind of service, but can always refer you to one who can. Trap-spay/neuter-release programs are widely available. No outdoor/feral cat will ever adapt or be happy in a shelter, cage, or home; it may seem cruel to leave them outside, but they have adapted to this lifestyle, and survive the elements; they are great survivors- that is why, every spring, there are more cats. Set-up an outdoor cat resort for them, and they will be content. Once a cat surpasses 8-10 weeks of age, it is difficult to ever socialize them fully, and they will likely always be feral or semi-feral. They will seldom ever be accepted into a no-kill shelter, as they will never be adopted due to their un-social or feral nature. Again, they will not be happy in a shelter, either.
